I haven't posted in a little while. I have been busy writing my Masters thesis. Although I have been knitting a bit in my spare moments.
Here is my progress on the Flower Basket Shawl. I am up to 135 stitches, but still have a long way to go.
I love this pattern. It is so easy to follow and very repetitive.
Here I pinned out one of the flower baskets to show you what they look like. Pretty, no? I probably won't post about this project again until it is complete, as lace just doesn't look good until its all blocked and bloomed. I already have multiple future lace projects picked out. For those who like Evelyn Clark, until May 14, Interweave Knits top 5 Readers Choice Patterns are free in a 30 page booklet, and the Swallowtail Shawl is part of this booklet. I also love the Nantucket Jacket and might knit it in the future.

Go, Rachel, go! I'll bet you have it done in no time. (I think I actually got faster toward the end of my FBS, both because I knew the pattern by then and because I was so anxious to finish!)
