Warm weather means....

Sweater time?

Two nights ago I cast on for Bell Sleeve Jacket from Vogue Knittings Holiday 2006 Issue.

This is the beginning of the back. I am using Knit Picks Wool of the Andes in a color called Hush. The yarn is a little rough to work with, but actually softened up to my hands as i knit with it a bit. I really love this color.

Looks like a great start to a pretty sweater! By the way, I read your entry on blocking. If you do decide to get into it, I'd recommend using this wool wash 'soak' (http://www.yarnandfiber.com/catalog/woolwash.php). You let your garment sit in cool water and soak for at least 15 min and gently squeeze it. No need to rinse it, its so simple and smells great. Also, my roommate bought some of those foam interlocking floor mats to use for blocking. It was pretty cheap and you don't have to deal with a bunch of soaked towels.
